One can prevent relapse by taking care of himself and seeking constant support in the form of individual therapy, group counseling and other support group meetings, sober living homes, and much more.

Motivation to recover is necessary with ongoing sobriety. Getting sober takes proper time and effort, and who are enlisting with this treatment program must be fully committed and ready.

Opioids
Opioids, sometimes called narcotics, are a type of drug that include strong prescription pain relievers. The illegal drug heroin is also an opioid. Opioid abuse means you are not taking the medicines according to your provider’s instructions, you are using them to get high, or you are taking someone else’s opioids. Addiction is a chronic brain disease. It causes you to compulsively seek out drugs even though they cause you harm.
Alcohol
we believe that alcohol addiction, or alcoholism, is a primary, chronic brain disease. As a result, patients must undergo an abstinence-based programme in order to achieve long-lasting recovery and rehabilitation. The specialized residential treatment programme for alcoholism that has been developed here at Freedom will help patients suffering from alcohol addiction find get the personalized care they need to combat the disease.
Cannabis
Cannabis, or Marijuana, is a plant derived, psychoactive drug that is generally smoked. Its effects include changes in perception and mood, as well as feelings of euphoria, or relaxation. However, users may also experience negative effects such as paranoia, or anxiety. Increased appetite, sleepiness, and short term memory impairment are more common effects of smoking cannabis.
Meth or Ice
The full name of meth, or crystal meth, is methamphetamine – a synthetic drug that is similar to amphetamine. Meth has a powerful effect, lasting up to 16 hours. Meth is a highly addictive drug as the need for another dose comes very fast. Chronic meth abuse significantly changes how the brain functions, reducing motor skills and impairing verbal learning. Recent studies in chronic meth abusers have also revealed severe structural and functional changes in areas of the brain associated with emotion and memory.
Cocaine
Cocaine is an addictive, psychoactive stimulant that is generally taken as a recreational drug. Cocaine increases the concentration of neurotransmitters dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine, as well as exciting the central nervous system, resulting in effects such as:
• Increased alertness
• Talkativeness
• Euphoria
• Rapid heart rate
• Increased blood pressure
• Sweating
Our core treatment for cocaine abuse is made up of specialised addiction group therapy, personal therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). CBT can be particularly effective for treating cocaine abuse. This form of therapy helps the patient to develop new attitudes to both themselves and their addictive behaviour. It teaches them to recognise negative thought patterns and counter them with better coping mechanisms. In addition, we provide family therapy sessions, and bereavement therapy where appropriate.
