Mian Muhammad Afzal Memorial Trust is working for drug prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and recovery. MATH is registered with Government of Punjab Pakistan and Punjab Health Care Commission. MATH has capacity of 145 beds for Men, Women, Children and Adolescence. Mian Afzal Trust Hospital (MATH) inaugurated on 28^th September-2001 by Brig: Riaz Ullah Khan Chib, Force Commander, Anti Narcotics Force Punjab Hospital. More than 40 staff members working in the Prevention, treatment Projects of Mian Afzal Trust Hospital, Pakistan.  

Clients come from whole country. MATH is providing quality Treatment & Rehabilitation services to drug addicts under the supervision of Prevention specialist, Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation experts like Consultant Drug Rehabilitation expert, Psychiatrist, Doctors, Psychologists, Counselors and well-trained supporting staff. Hospital is the biggest Drug treatment facility in Punjab province Pakistan and running a comprehensive Prevention, treatment and rehabilitation program in one-hectare area (2.5 Acre) of land. More than 30,000 persons rehabilitated from the MATH up to till now. Fish farm, Vegetable farm and Nursery are also a part of a rehabilitation program. MATH also has prevention experts as staff.

MATH is training provider of Colombo Plan Drug advisory program since 2016. MATH conducted numbers of trainings.

MOU BETWEEN MATH AND CHILD PROTECTION & WELFARE BUREAU PUNJAB, LAHORE

MATH has signed a memorandum of Understanding with Child Protection & Welfare Bureau Punjab, Lahore for free treatment & rehabilitation on 28^th November, 2023.

Ms. Sarah Ahmad Chairperson Child protection & Welfare Bureau and Mr. Sana Ullah Rathore, Chairman Mian Afzal Trust Hospital singed the MOU for free treatment of street child drug users. Child protection will refer the children for free treatment and MATH provides FREE treatment to them.

MATH is an ideally located facility for comprehensive treatment of Alcoholism, Drug Addiction, Psychiatric illnesses and other behavior disorders. Our program deals with both the physical and mental problems brought about by drug and alcohol use. Our goal is to assist the addict and alcoholic both mentally and physically to become a whole and sane person capable of dealing with life’s many and varied challenges. The end result is a success rate that is 3 to 4 times higher than that of other programs. This unique program addresses as well the three main causes of relapse after treatment; physical cravings, lingering depression and/or guilt from past misconduct connected to drug and alcohol addiction.
